The best Christmas gift that I have ever gotten was the birth of our oldest daughter on Dec. 16.

One of the best Christmas gifts that I ever received was a 2 year subscription to my favorite magazine. It was given to me by my daughter who was in college at the time. I was going through chemo during the Christmas season and was just feeling horrible. The fact that she thought I would still be alive in 2 years made me think in a different direction. I told her I wasn't going to let her 2 year subscription go to waste. LOL! It's been 18 years since that Christmas. I am blessed and very thankful.

I have a tie for the best Christmas gift I have ever gotten. The tie is between an EZ Bake oven (my poor daddy ate no-telling-what from that thing =) and a waredrobe of handmade Barbie clothes that my mother made. I cannot fathom the time it took her to sew all of those tiny little clothes. I still have them to this day and I am 50+! (she passed away earlier this year, so they are even more precious). I still have the EZ Bake oven too - cake anyone? =)
The best gift I ever gave was a microwave oven to my mother. They had just come out and I had to put it on layway to be able to pay for it. That microwave lasted for years and years and years - it was just replaced a couple of years ago.
